Interesting subject - Ghillie suit?
By coincidence was searching the net for some white camou to respond to another posting, and this image popped up on the same page:

Clever technique! Thanks for sharing with us... I'd love to see how it comes out!

That's awesome!
jetmodeler Thanks everyone. ~Gamera~ I actually wanted to do a prone figure but it was the only spare figure I had at the time so I just went with it. If this one turnes out how I want it I'll probably do it on a prone figure.
Thanks everyone.

Never seen anyone do a gille suit like that but it looks great! Great idea and looking forward to seeing how he comes out.
Only question is why not do a figure lying prone in the sniping position? Not that I'm complaining it's much easier to see the detail with him standing
Here is the 1/35 sniper I'm working on.
Tamiya figure wrapped in medical gauze. Kind of tedious but IMO it looks the part.
Alright so here it is primed.
The rifle is just an M1 Garand with a piece of toothpick sanded to scale. Nothing really special.
And heres where I'm at now. It's gonna be a winter sniper. I like the look of the winter ghillie suits.
I should be finished with the painting soon. Then on to a little weathering.
