1/72 ESCI-Three WWII German Half-tracks (IMG&Reviews)
Posted by Panzer_Grenadire on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 9:05 AM

I have just posted on http://www.ww2germans.com/  three new Extended reviews of the figures available in ESCI half-track kits, namely Sd.Kfz.251/1, SdKfz.11, and SdKfz.250/3.
The images feature not only the painted standard figs and some conversions, but also the vehicles (which were painted more than 10 years ago)... :-D

For much more images and texts of the reviews please visit the above mentioned web-site. Direct links to the these reviews are provided on the Home page (Update 4).

I hope you will like them.

Fine work as ever, and the figures looks really well molded despite many years old

Some great work there. Its a real shame these Esci kits are not around anymore. I really liked their vehicles and they did some great figure sets as well. I still have a lot of there figures waiting to be use.

Thank you very much and definitely, despite their age, these figs look much better than many figs produced after 2010...Surprise

Thank you very much and luckily some of the old ESCI kits are nowadays reissued by Italeri. Unfortunately, not all, for instance a very desired set, Nebelwerfer, has not been reissued by Italeri....it seems it belongs to the Esci "lost moulds" theory....Big Smile

LOL!!

i have five sets again in the stash (barbarians , ww2 germans and us army, modern u.s. and spetznatz) out of some nato pilots and ground crew from two sets!! Few modern setts reach these old mouds!!

Also recently got 3 biplanes in 1/72 from Esci!!!

I still have their 1/72nd MiG 29 in the stash to build. I have recently sold off a few kits on e-bay, subjects i wasn't interested in. And i have just used 3 from the NATO ground crew set for a Soviet dio, they were the closet i had.

maybe we should start an Esci GB lol
