I'm sorry you didn't enjoy painting the figure, but I think it turned out great.  White is a buggar colour to paint and I like what you did with it.  I had to laugh at Gamera"s statment about the shield.  I've never added battle damage to one so I.m feeling pretty stupid right now.

Maybe it didn't come with a lot of parts but still you made him look really good! Great job on the cloak and I really like the damage to the shield. I've done plenty of 28mm gaming figures and somehow I seem to forget that the purpose of a shield is to get bad guys to whale on it instead of on you!

Hi everybody,

After painting a pirate (/forums/t/147251.aspx), I've decided to keep on my figure painting learning process with a Templar Knight figure from Romeo Models.

Here's the box and its contents:

Unfortunately I think I made a bad decision buying this figure, I liked it when I saw the figure on intenet  but iit was a rather simple one, basically all you have to do is build the figure (after building several Dragon tanks of more than 500 pieces, putting ta few pieces together was like a walk in the park :) ) and paint the white clothes; the only fun part was painting the shield.

In summary, I really didn't enjoy it but it helped me to gain practice; anyway, next time I have to think a little more before buying these figures, they are expensive :)

Ok, here are some photos of the finished figure:

Hopefully the next figure will look better :)
