                        Hi all I got the Flames of War SS paint and I cant really figure out what is the base color, the directions on the back are kind of a help but not exactly the best reference

                        Also, Ive seen on some of these figures people do a black wash... would I do that for the SS camo uniforms?

                        Yes, some will give an overall weak wash to tone down the camou colours if they laid them down too vibrant.   Sort of muting them for scale effect.
