Thanks, the whole figure is made from discarded model sprue, I think the silver makeup jarlid gives it a nice touch

Here is the painted and finished US Marine from the 1898 Spanish American war during the fight for "Getmo". It is a 1/16Th sculpt using sprue as the primary medium for the figure, the base is from an old makeup jar of my wife, I made a mold of the Marine corps eagle globe and ancore and cast it to add to the base. The figure is painted in oils with baby powder added to the paint to make it flat and speed the drying.
