He looks great.

It's all depends on the veiwer to decide what he is thinking. Like a book, the reader, or in this case the viewer brings their past and their experiences to bring the subject to life.

Thanks. :)

Groundwork was pure fun: Birch seed, scratched mushrooms (from plastic profile and paper with some white glue added), flowers from ModelScene - a souvenir from the "E-Days" Prague Expo etc. The "hata" (banner) consists of rice paper and was hand painted. Leather stripes are some painted Tamiyatape stripes. Thats it - so easy ;)

Well painted and nicely presented,. I like it.

Nice work! Love all the detailing on his armour and the fantastic groundwork!

Hi folks...

Its been months since I started this project and finally its done. One of the most beautiful figures in my collection and a bargain as well (12 € instead of 56€) And therefore I tried to give the figure a suitable and convincing surrounding, full of small detail like mushrooms, flowers, forest soil and even a handmade hata (banner).

Believe it or not - the hardest part of the assembly was... the bow. It just resisted to fit in the samurais hands and I didnt want to force it there, destroying the colour layers - thats the reason why it lies besides the samurai.

You dont really know what hes thinking right now - Is he just checking the armory? Is he thinking about his family? We dont know... But what I know is, that this is definetely not the last samurai figure in my collection

Have fun with the pictures!
