Yeah PP, I was wondering if he's a 28mm gaming figure or 54mm /35th scale?

Is that an old 25mm Grenadier fig?

Another lead figure at the bench... medieval crossbowman

As i eased out of the hiatus, I decided to paint another figure, just to see if i retained my fine moter skills over the break. they seem to be intact...

dug around and found a running/ sprinting solider in chain mail, his hands in the position of holding a crossbow, which i used one.-

first i painted the green robe. some f leash color had been applied to the face only, but was very light and worn.-

Added new coat of mm wood-

whilst that was drying, i turned my attention to the crossbow.-

Belts next-

more detail on the crossbow-

The figure was pretty much done and painted, the bow has since been added, but i stopped there, seeing as we had run out of two- part epoxy which was needed for the base.-

Until the epoxy arrives, which could be any day, this project will be put on pause.
