1/35 scale bottles
Posted by 4allscotties on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 1:46 PM

It seems to me I've seen 1/35 scale soda bottle (WWII style) or cases of coke/pepsi bottles already painted  I just can't remember where.  I've also seen cases of beer.  Does anyone know where to find them?

Also is there a place to find high quality 1/35 images if K-rations, C-rations, MRE's, etc, that I can print out?.  It's really pisses me off to pay 3 or 4 dollars for a printed sheet of paper with that stuff.

Thank you everyone in advanceWink

A long time ago, I heard an apocryphal story of a woman complaining about the price of a dress and the amount of material in the item. The reply was similar to this: The paper is free, it's the work of the person who created and printed the designs and engineered the proper cut out/fold lines you're paying for.

Don't think that's worth a couple bucks? Try doing it yourself.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Right on!  I have paid $100 for a custom made replica cardboard box for a vintage toy ray gun from the 1930's, and it looks just like the original.  These are hand-made to order one at a time.  I was paying the guy for his time and talent and the use of his equipment- he's a professional commercial printer.

(Sometimes collectors like me go a bit crazy....)

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
