Unfortunately the harse camera flash has not been too flattering. Hope you like them.

Nice job.  At 1/35 those aren't that big, so the detail is nice.

As for the flash, you can try a cheap light box:  Take a cardboard box, cut big holes in sides and cover with white tissue paper.  Shine bright lights through the tissue paper.  Put white poster board inside the bottom and back and take the picture through the opening, without flash.

I'm no expert, but it looks like the soldier has officer shoulder boards and also Sergent's stripes on his sleeves.

Look pretty good to me! You could build a small simple diorama base to mount them on, that would add a lot.

Paul, you are right on the chevrons and shoulder boards. That's been noted on the figure sites. One should be removed to make a correct figure.

The cavalryman is missing his carbine and the carbine belt ends abruptly and impossibly under his right armpit.

Hi,

thanks for the replies.

I did think the shoulder stripes were odd but as it showed them on the instructions I didn't think too much about it.

The carbine is on the other side and tucked in between the bedroll and saddle. I'll see if I can grab an image from that side. I cheated a little as my fat little fingers had trouble with all those tiny straps :-).

The horses are painted with oil paints with a darker top coat and `wipe off` technique.

These are my first 1/35th figures.

Oh well, back to normality with a 1/72nd Scale Halifax on the bench!

ATB,

Ted.
