Hi guys this is what i am working on at the moment. It is the great sculpt from S&T .I have painted it in acrylics first then oils over. The acrylics were done as a base coat then highlights and shadows with very weak filter coats to blend. Then the oils were done just adding more depth to the high and lowlights .The benefits of the oils is the ability to blend better.I done the helmet with the hairspray technique then finished with some pigment washes to tone it down and dirty it up a bit.The headscarf was done with acrylics with the shadows and highlights done the blending coats. Then to finish of what i have done so far is the strap which i painted black the added buff to the edges for wear and a silver buckle.

I think you have to use the direct link maybe?? Anyway, nice work on the figure, the wear on the helmet looks really good. I'm jealous of anyone that can do figures as that is one area I have yet to delve into yet.

Hi Andy Smile

Looks real good man.... Face is very expressive and the helmet looks very realistic. Yes.

Photobucket gets fussy every now and then LOL, but I clicked on and all the pictures came up nicely.

Don't know if you are on Photobucket Beta ( the new version), But on the older one , you use the Image  ( [IMG] file (the choice on the very bottom of the 4 choices.

In any case, the work is a treat and that is what counts Wink

tread Cool
