Real models also has Canadian Afganistan tank crews. There is also a French company that has a Canadian tanker that is sitting in a hatch. I believe the company is called Djiti. I just got three and they look great.

Winters may be cold in Canada but at least there are no mosquitoes or blackflies

Have a look for Decals which will save your sanity, not sure this is the pattern your looking for but have a look at ssgmcd018

From a painting perspective, Calvin Tan put together a decent tutorial on his blog on painting ACUs (the US Army's digital camo).  While CADPAT is different, I think the principles may apply.  Here is the URL:

Unfortunately, many of the images appear broken right now.  I'm not sure if this is temporary for permanent (which would be a shame).  But here is a link to Alpine's site which shows the result:

I hope this helps.  Good luck and I'd love to see what you produce.

Hey forester, with regards to painting the CADPAT you need a very small brush, a very steady hand, opti-visor, and remember that in 1/35 its not individual pixels its more blobs of the colous. That should give you an adequate representation. With regards the actually soldiers Blackdog makes the tank crew and 2 individual soldiers, luckymodel.com/scale.aspx

In terms of other soldiers you could use Trumpeter German ISAF figures and convert some live-resin weapons and scopes.

Hello how are ya's today? I am looking forward to building a modern Canadian military diorama with the hobby boss canadian leopard. I was wondering where I could puchase modern canadian infantry soldiers and how to paint the CADPAT combats. Thank you for your time. Cheers from Canada.
