The third and last Kami de Koro Koro 1/72 set on WWII Germans is “German Early Palm Tree Pattern Officer”, also a one figure set. The company still respects its blazon of striving to bring novelty in the field of attire and this time puts forward a Late War and interesting combination, smock, M43-H trousers, toque, and gloves. The title is definitely odd, while hobbyists might paint any camouflage pattern they want, of course appropriate for smocks, the trousers being suitable for camouflage version, too. Still, I tried depicting on the standard figure the pattern referred by the title, although that is one of the most difficult on a 1/72 figure, the specific palm leaves being almost impossible to be reproduced for a clear recognision. The converted figure features oak leaf smock and pea dot trousers and both got Preiser MP40 plus some extra gear for the converted one.
