Here is a figure I just finished. The kit is by Knight Models in 72mm made out of white metal. The ice mountain is resin. With the weight of the metal climber hanging off of the edge, you must secure it to a large, heavy base.
It is painted with Vallejo acrylics using an airbrush for the base coats and hand brushing the details. I built the ice up on the mountain using heavy gloss medium gel I picked up at a local craft store. I had to add a little white paint to it otherwise it was looking very waxy in stead of icy.
I'm not very happy with my attempts to give the face a ruddy, cold look, but this was the best I could get.
