I have pretty clear memories of building the original Aurora Dracula back in the day, and the Creature...but I never had the Wolfman. Till now! I've had the Monogram "Luminators" boxing of the kit in the back of my stash for a while, and was finally inspired to complete him recently. In keeping with several things I've done lately, I was trying for a "moonlight" look with lots of purples and blues...
Wow, this brings back memories. Tremendous job, very cool....

The Monogram "Luminators" boxing?
That alone should garner a glowing tribute or two for your build.

I like the way you did the shading on that kit; makes me fondly recall Lon Chaney Jr;s role in the 1941 movie "The Wolfman" .
I just wish somebody would introduce a companion kit of Maria Ouspenskaya..........
That looks terrific!
Impressive paint job!
Very nice work- esp on the fur detail!

I'll buy the collar SG if you'll put it on him...

My memories of the "Luminator" kits was that the plastic was weirdly soft and "vinyl-y" (i.e., hard to sand and scribe cleanly). Excellent job with the many awkward seams and restoring the hair texture, great paint job, superb work all around! Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks! The plastic in this kit - and keep in mind the kit was 20 years old - seemed very brittle to me, the way clear styrene feels.
Really nice seam work. Thats tough on old kits.
