Hi can anyone tell me when painting with acrylics on 120mm figures just how thin do you go with them,hope you guys can help. Brian

Veeeery thin and maaaany coats!
It has to look like water with some color in it; that's how I paint my figures.
Since acrylics dry quckliy it doesn't take much time to apply many coats.

It's a matter of which technique you prefer - you can go the opposite direction and drybrush your paint colours too.

Acrylics are hard to dry brush as they dry very fast and tend to clump up on the brush pretty quickly.

You can/should add a retarder/extender to the acrulics to extend the drying time, this will also help reduce brusk makrs in the finish.

Check with the maker of your paints they should offer one.
