Equipment wise more likely German. The Republicans had Soviet stuff.

Your best bet would be modified Italian figures from pre war to about 41 or 42 with modified equipment. Especially soviet.

Yeah, I've been looking in vain for some civilian figures for a few Korean War dioramas I've been working on. I figure I'll have to kit-bash something. You'd think out of a dozen or so Korean model companies one or two would make '50s era Korean civilians!

You might want to connect with ottoirving, who has a t-26 post up in armor. He's doing things in that vein.

I agree completely, but its funny. Sometimes if you'll look into those countries modeling sites, they've got... stuff.

Its irritating at times, I wish there was a bigger influx of spanish civil war and Finnish army figures!

Good question. I see that there's an Osprey publication for "Nationalist Forces 1936-1939".

It seems like there's a LOT of variety. Glancing through images, pre-war German style helmets, a lot of similarity to Italian uniforms of the period.

Condor Legion wouldn't be too hard.

Kind of sharp that Mauser pistol.

Its kind of bogus that the Hobby Boss T-26 1935 box shows a bunch of Nationalists riding on it, but there are no figs in the kit.
