I'm not that familar with the comic but awesome work there- I love the faded look on the shirt.

 Your posts are always a showcase for talent and entertainment, but I have a soft spot for figures and really enjoyed this.  You did an awesome job and thanks for posting.                    knox

Very nice work

Thanks, guys!   I was in the right place at the right time to get this job- kinda.  I had worked for an animation studio for 14 years, and one of last projects was to lead a storyboard team to board a script for a CG animated Goon feature.  It was the result of a successful Kickstarter campaign, and the Big Proze for the major donors was a Goon sculpture, cast in bronze-impregnated resin- swanky!  Later after my department had been canned (thanks- not!)- Dark Horse Comics decided to sell a painted version of the sculpt.  I still have friends at that studio, and one of my old buds was still in charge of the Goon project.  That's how I got the job!   Maybe more will follow- I hope so.

That Goon looks awesome, mate!!  And it was a real pleasure to check him out with a Mk.1 Eyeball, brother!  I'd love to get some real instruction on figure painting, Chuk-style.  Feel free to edumacate my ignorant self. 

It's always a treat to check out your work - love your website, and your book, Chuk Art, Vol. 1, is awesome!  Cheap at twice the price!
