Took a photo of Wittman & crew's grave(s) in Normandy in 2000.  Their remains are buried together.

Wittmann is quite popular with those that build Tiger tanks, as well as anyone that studies the Normandy campaign, though he was on the eastern front as well.  His accomplishments as an ace are most often overshadowed by the controversy over just who blew up his tank and ended his career.

Jack

Thank you Jgeratic, this is resin kit by Miniature Park, not the Dragon figure with the Tiger tank.

Beautiful paintYes   Splendid job on handling the black uniform, a most difficult colour to paint for many.

Dragon figures?
