Master Box Skull Clan Death Angles Desert Warrior Series.

Not zombies this time but four post  apocalyptic ladies you would probably not want to go out on a date with.  There is an obvious "Mad Max" inspiration here although no one would mistake any of these female figures with Tina Turner.

They must have run out of ammo in the post apocalyptic future because no firearms are included.  One of the figures has a Mohawk hairstyle and is holding a bullwhip in one hand and mace like thing in the other.  Another is holding a very large crossbow.   The third figure is about to let go with a boomerang.  The fourth is holding nasty looking swords in either hand.  The clothing, what there is of it, looks  warren out and full of holes but the lady with the crossbow has a jacket with a Skull Clan  emblem on the back.

The overturned six wheel truck in the cover art is not  included but the any of the Meng pickup trucks could be used in a post apocalyptic diorama with the figures.

No one will ever accuse Master Box of making the same old figure kits.

Yup, all talked about on other forms.  Definitely an interesting set.  They are inspired by the new Mad Max movie, Fury Road, not the Beyond Thunderdome crap w/Tina turner though.  Beyond Thunderdome really sucked.

I hope they do more Fury Road and Mad Max sets.  A Mad Max Interceptor in 1/35 would be awesome.

You could easily replace the crossbow with one of Live Resin's Benelli Shotguns

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Yup, you could pretty much replace the crossbow with any weapon that has a pistol grip; ie. M16, M4, M249, M240B, Tommy gun, etc.  She would look good in all black leathers as Mad Maxine.

The choice of a crossbow and a boomerang as weapons was probably inspired by the second "Mad Max" movie.  The addition of some Live Resin guns and accessories would certainly update the figures to the post apocalyptic twenty first century.
