Hi,
I've finally finished the building of this figure of Iron Man, it's from Moebius Models.
I've added lights so I have to do some minor modifications to the kit to make the electrical installation.

That metalic color is just right, what did you use?

I've just use Humbrol colors (red and gold). I initially painted the whole kit with metallic gold and then apply a very thin and diluted coat of red.
That's a nice effect, the red looks metalic too.

Yes, that's why I've used just a very thin and diluted coat of red on top of the gold paint, to obtain a metalic look on the red.
