WW2 Radio gear

Anybody,

Just scratchbuilt a SCR536 for my US Infantry patrol (show you some pics when I can get some photos taken), but I don't know what accessories the GIs wore when they were assigned to carry the radio. Did they carry spare batteries in a pouch, in their haversacks, or in a special bandoleer? Was there a special backpack for the handie-talkie? I didn't do the SCR300 cause I didn't have any size references, and besides i have fond memories of Lt. Hanley's "Checkmate king one..."

I'm itching to finish, so please, anybody with more knowledge on this subject...
