This is a 120mm figure from Verlinden. It was a gift from my friend but it didn't come with the original M79 Grenade Launcher. The original came with an open breech and the figure loading a round into it. The M79 I ordered came with the breech closed, so I had to improvise. I hope you like it and all comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Nice work! Love the dirty worn look to his uniform and the camo paint on his face.

It looks pretty good.

I was going to mention something about the color of the jungle boots but then remembered that while mine usually looked black and a bit dusty now and then, the figures would have been tromping through all sorts of dirt, water, and clay.

With the M-79, the barrel and other metal parts would have been dark.  I don't remember if uors were black or dark grey, similr to our M-16s.  The stocks woiuld havve been some shade of brown, although we had a few used by the sector mortor crews that had worn off their p;aint and showed a tan plastic underneath it. The cushion at the end was believe, black,  I'm not sure about that part because if we needed a 40mm launcher, we had the M-148 atached  to some of our rifles and some M-174 automatic launchers available.
