Hello!

The first one looks good, although she'a little bit pale... I don't quite get the second one.

Well too bad nudity is not allowed here, maybe that would crank the traffic up a bit, because now it's close to nothing happening here... One page of ALL posts in 12 hours? Good ole' days you got this many posts in one hour in Armour alone!

Anyhow, rant over. Thanks for sharing and good luck with your next projects, have a nice day

Paweł

Nice work. Figures are a pain and you did some sharp work there.

Pawel: Yeah, know what you mean, I tried posting a few figures and there was so little interest I didn't see the point and stopped.

Love the first one! Looks like she is toting a HK G36, one of my favorite rifles. Do you have a shot of the side where the leather satchel is hanging? From the shots you have, it looks very realistically painted.

The first figure is really outstanding. I sometimes do  the Verlinden Napoleonic 1/16th figures so I know the work involved in the painting. It's really a whole other skill set than normal model building and you have done a super job here Revenant.

Most people that do just figures are a serious artistic lot. I've learned a lot about this art over on the dedicated figure painting forum "Planet Figure".

I've also sensed that site traffic here at FSM has considerably slowed. There's a core group that have been here for years and that's about it.

Nice job! I also did the first figure. I think she is one of the best female sculpts ever produced. If you care to see my version it's listed under Battle Chick.

Did you paint her tattoo, or use a decal?  I know some folks choose the decal route, but I'm curious to hear how someone does it, when he paints it by hand.

Painted by hand...actually one on each arm...used my girlfriend as a model.

Lovely work. I particularly admire the tone and faux texture of the bare skin. May we inquire as to your tecnique?

Really well-done skin tones on this figure.

In fact it's altogether an extremely nice paint-job.

Cheers

Got my techniques down , but , nothing show quality . I just enjoy the break from ships and trains . Plus , each one is an experience to do them better , as are all models of course .These though, are way better than mine ! T.B.

I must say your figures are so realistic and beautiful.  Keep up the great job!
