That's like asking how to get a metalic look! Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg] Are you trying to get buckskin/suede, new Air Force/Navy flight jacket, sheepskin bomber, new dress shoes, worn cavalry boots, Union or Confederate leathers? Each of these would have a different application and base color and each would age differently.
Please ask for a more specific application and we might be of more asistance.

Okay then, how about an SS officers leather greatcoat. And while we're at it how about the boots and gloves as well.

You'd want to do a semi gloss black, shadows could be prussian blue and adding a bit of lighter blue to the black for highlights. Gloves would lean towards a pretty flat black and boots would be much more glossy, especially if not inthe field long. To get some variety, you might add some flesh color to the black on the gloves for highlights.
Hope that helps. Big Smile [:D]

Thanks, I think I've done a pretty good job thus far considering I havent done any model painting before. I did use alittle bluish color and some deep grays. I also drybrushed with some artists oils. I will post a picture of my progress. thanks again.
