Ye, the Airfix ones are a pretty good size. There is a site called plastic soldier review which i find pretty useful. It places the Airfix figuresd in the middle of the size range for 72nd figures.

On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
Bish, you are correct, they are the same as the Airfix figures. Just got them today. They are in a soft, somewhat rubber-like plastic. Nice detail, minimal flash. They seem smaller than the usual Airfix pilot figures, but they measure out correctly for 1/72 scale. I guess the pilot figures are a bit on the larger size!
Bish I could be mistaken, but i think they are the same as the Airfix. Your right about the Revell set, i have been trying to get hold of anotehr Luftwaffe set for ages, but both arevery hardto find and pricey when i do.

Your right there baron, so many companies are swapping their own kits. I guess this way the bigger companies save the expense of designing the molds and the smaller ones get the bigger label to attach there kits to.
Bish the Baron Is the Revell set original to Revell (incl Revell of Germany), or is it a re-issue of some other maker's set? The RAF set appears to be original. the Luftwaffe set is a re-box of the Preiser set with a few extra figures. But Presier have not done an RAF set and i can't see who else Revel lcould have taken their RAF set from.

It's getting harder to tell the players without a scorecard I think Revell had partnered with ICM to sell some of ICM's figure sets, too. So I was curious about the RAF set.
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.
Unfortunatly this is somthing i have been complaining about for a long tie. there are loads of ground equipment sets out there, but we are very poorly supplied with figures.
Bish Ye, the box art on the second 2 releases of the Heller kit make them look very different. But the first of those 2 shares the same number as their original release which mirroed the Airfix set and i found a site which show the figuresd and you can see they are the same. https://www.super-hobby.com/products/RAF-PERSONEL.html

Thanks Bish! Yes, they are the same.
I've found some pretty thorough descriptions of the Airfix figures, nothing on the Heller. The box art on the Heller shows a crew working on a Typhoon, so I'm hoping the figures are consistent. Well, I'll order the Heller and let you know!
I think Bish is right here. I was looking for a 1/72nd Jeep for an airfield diorama some years ago and if I remember correctly the Heller and the Airfix kit were the same model.

I'm building a 1/72 Typhoon with cannon bays open. I'd like to add a couple figures, and the available sets seem to come down to the Airfix, Revell, and Heller RAF personnel kits. The figures in the Airfix kit depict uniforms and dress that is a bit earlier and more formal than my model subject. The Revell set seems to be very hard to find, so that leaves the Heller kit. I can't find any reviews on this set, does anyone have experience with Heller figures?
