Thanks guys: I keep planning the next one after I clean my work space( it's really messy) will be a SBS. I've decided the heck with and will do a SBS on the next figure.

The question about PAtton is yes. He was Gen Pershings aide, during the hunt for Pancho Villa. It was an interresting time for the US Army, got lots of training for the up coming war in Europe.

Greg

Making this from a pile of sprue baffles my imagination.

Any compliment seems somehow insufficient.

Nice work! I would like to know more about how you made it.

Is this during Patton's early years?  Pancho Villa?  Your medium and work continues to amaze me.

Thanks,

John

Excellent work! That’s a figure subject area that you rarely see modeled.

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

N is for NO SURVIVORS...

With US troops deployed to the boarder with Mexico, I thought I'd post this work I started in 2016, to show how little History changes. The figure represents A US soldier (National Guardsman) on duty on the US/Mexico boarder.

This 1/24th scale figure is of a US Inf. soldier just prior to the US intervention into Mexico. The figure is made from sprue and this coat of paint is used to detect flaws in the figure. A little more sanding/filling and it should be ready to paint. Any advice or thoughts would be welcomed.
