Modern era 1/35 scale

Looks like Dragon is bringing out some more modern soldiers.

Jaguar or Warriors (I don't remember wich one) makes a "Hummer crew" kit, wiht a driver and a gunner.

Those Hobbyfan items look really nice. I hadn't seen them yet. Where's the best place to get them?

I got the pics from the Jaguar site ( http://www.jaguarmodels.com ). You can buy them there; I don't know if there are other places you can get them.
I bought the HF557 at my hobby store it's well done but the faces of the soldiers are exactly the same, i.e. you'll get twin marines!

No, the most "Modern" 1/35 Tamiya figure kit is the Operation Desert Storm figures wich is a reissue of their Modern Soldiers that came with the original M2 Bradley kit, plus 2 more figures.

They also have a new 1/16 Iraqi Freedom figure (below), however, the figure is wearing the older style MOPP suit, and not the current JSLIST chemical suite as worn in IOF.


Tamiya also has a couple of new 1/35 crew figures included with their new OIF armored vehicles (M113A2, M2A2 ODS, and M1A2). These are pretty good and look right for IOF.
