Here is a piece I started in Nov 2018. I did make a copy of the head of One of the figures of the old Monogram Vietnam war memorial as the base. Every thing else I made from scratch.

The figure represents a US Army r

adio operator(RTO) sometime during the Vietnam war. The piece is totally made from discarded plastics such as: sprure, disposable razor handles, and plastic flatware. If I did this write here is a link to the how to. https://forum.ipmsusa3.org/topic/20356-110th-figure-start/ I'm not sure when I'll paint or even if I will paint it, but if I do I'll post the finished photos.

My wife thinks I procrastinate. I just put things off till she forgets.

I can't see your photos here but was able to get the link to work over to IPMS USA without any issues. Very cool! Great use for all that plastic that otherwise would go into the trash.

Strange that you couldn't get your older callsign to work. I remember you've been using it for years.

Enviable talents for sure. As an ex 1 ID rto I will be anxious as well to see the continuation.

Outstanding work. I so wish I would have taken a pic of my ruck setup. For the life of me I can't remember the details. Your depiction is very similar, especially the radio mount. but I'm sure I had more storage below for the C's, 35mm camera, C4, and one or two extra house brick batteries and all the other crap you weight yourself down with. Headset position is perfect too. Can't wait to see it painted. Your grunts mouth made me think of Butthead from Beavis and Butthead. :)

I am definitely going to keep a close eye on the development of this piece. So far everything is looking good. I think the smoke grenades look a little battered but I know you'll take care of that. BTW what scale is this in?

Just checking in. Noticed something that really just popped out! The man even got the field dressing right! Upside down. I remember the first film I saw that had it right and I was smiling big. Outstanding.
