Andrea Miniatures and Pilipili Miniatures are great companies that sell top quality figures and busts in different scales and in a multitude of genres. If you're looking for WWII in 1/35 scale then I suggest Alpine Miniatures. Warriors is another one but they have mostly gone the way of Verlinden Productions. I hope this helps.

I've purchased most of mine from random sellers on eBay. It's a bit more convoluted to actually find 'rare' items, but I think it is one of the most convinient. Especially with the rise of 3D printing, there are a number of companies in Taiwan and China that are using 3D modelling software to print items to mold from, and the results can be shockingly good. I've got a Trump and a Putin from one of these guys, and the faces are startlingly accurate.

Fantization is good for fantasy type stuff- mostly 32mm gaming figures but they do carry larger ones as well.

One of my favorites has always been the Last Cavalry shop. The owner, Dave Youngquist, offers a good selection, but it's his sense of customer service and support that keep me coming back to shop with them.

l was wondering if there are good places to buy figures from still around. I’m interested in 54-120 mm, historical- fantasy.  I haven’t had much success finding the threads that dealt with this. ( quite sure it is operator error on my part).  Thanks.                  knox
