1/10th scale Great Hammerhead Shark.

Hi everyone

Last Saturday I recieved this 1/10 scale Great Hammerhead shark model kit, and this Saturday I finished it. A couple of months ago I built the 1/20th scale version of this model which some of you haves seen and complimented on.

At the time when I purchased this 1/20th scale model I had no idea it would be only 6 inches long, because I really wanted the 12 inch version I have now! Don't get me wrong, the 6 inch one is still a great model, however it's just too small for my liking.

Here is the bigger scale version of this Great Hammerhead Shark model, and also the curve on this 1/10th scale model is on the opposite side to the 1/20th scale version which you can see below, and like this better because it is more pleaseing to my eye! sharknuts

Hi keavdog

Thanks for your compliment. These Shark models are very detailed, and if you like sharks as much as I do, get one!

I am waiting for the Mako Shark to come out, and I may get that one also.

Sharknuts, wow you sprung for the one-footer!  I thought the 6” version was just right for my needs.  The 24” Orca and the 36” Megalodon are just too much resin for me.

I wonder how the Mako’s teeth will be rendered?  Eduard Brassin?  Stick out tongue  Will Uschi van der Rosten offer us “shark skin” decals?

I’m looking forward to the Manta Ray!  If the Narwhal has a nice pose, I’d be in for that one too.

I suggested to Ed that he should offer a Remora Accessory Pack, so we can glue some pesky hitchhikers to our models!  I hope the range continues to expand, and they retain their high level of quality.

Oh Sharknuts, what have you done?  You have cross contaminated innocent forum readers into spending more hobby money.  But thank you anyway!

Looks great!!! I love the shading you do on your sharks!

A remora accessory pack would be pretty cool though...

Real G

That's a good question in regards to the Mako Shark's teeth, because if I get the Mako Shark model from Ed, the teeth would be the most important detail for me on that model!

I told Ed to send me pictures of that Mako Shark kit when he has them on hand.

Well;

      I will have to wait too I guess. My absolute fave type Shark family critter is the Manta. I was luck enough to be able to fly with some years ago. You didn't touch them but you swam with them. Awesome creatures even with the Hitchikers!
