This is Moebius models in black and white.  I hope the pics show as I am doing this from my phone. If not I will fix it when I get home. Here it goes:

I'm no slouch at painting, but I'm always blown away by the skill it takes to make one of these monochrome paint jobs look so authentic.

Truly excellent (and very impressive) work!

That really looks good and it's far beyond what I'm cabpabile of.  Still, everytime I see the bride I remember the ending scenes from Young Frankenstein.

I must agree that the monochrome painting style is awesome!  Not only do your "colors" look right, the various materials have the correct sheen to them.  Well done!

I have seen Japanese robot models done in a cel shaded style to mimic what you see on TV, and others that copy the box art painting, and they look remarkable.  Never mind the "Spanish Style", the next painting craze is the "Effects Style"!  Yes

Sinse nobody has asked yet, what colors did you use to get that effect?

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

Ikar, surprisingly it was pretty simple. I used rustolium flat black for primer. Then I used Vallejo black and white. I combined the black with white to create a dark grey, then just kept adding white to lighten the shade. For the chase and the wall I finished with a semi gloss, the eyes got a gloss coat, everything was flat.
