My father in law was a combat medic with the First Cav in '66-'67. I converted Verlindens 200 mm airborne figure to a First Cav figure ,simple replacment of the patch, to honor him. I am giving this to him this weekend.
A nice finish, and a great tribute to your father-in-law! I like your shading and highlighting on this.

Very nice work! Figure painting is a skill that I admire and have not developed yet. This will be a very special gift for your father in law and I am truly grateful for his service and sacrifice.

Nice job. 200mm is a lot of resin! I'm sure he'll appreciate that.
Thanks,
John
Have always thought this was their best figure, and you did an outstanding job finishing it.
My wife thinks I procrastinate. I just put things off till she forgets.
Nice work, the figure looks great. The base came out nice too.

Excellent work. I love it. I especially like that he has the thousand yard stare.
Great work my friend. Love the tones and brushwork. I'm sure your father-in-law would be very pleased.
