Sort of like "Jurassic Park" meets "The Walking Dead?"

I remember when we took a class tour of the History and Science Museum in Buffalo, N.Y. while staying at Grandmother's that I made everyone laugh with a question I asked. I asked the Tour Docent why they forgot to feed the poor cat! There was a modern Cat skeleton on display right next to where I was standing!

That's a beautiful job Wayne!!! It's hard to get bone to look 'right' and you've what you've got looks perfect!!!

It reminds me of one of Jim Butcher's 'Harry Dresden' novels, I forget which one. Harry is a wizard who's fighting a couple of necromancers. One guy raises the skeletons of soldiers from the War Between the States to fight for him. Since the older the skeleton the more powerful the second brings back braves from several American Indian tribes. Then Harry tops them all by showing up riding a skeletal T. rex!!!

Sue does have that lower rib cage and is fatter than what we previously thought. Ofc way back we though T-rex walked upright like Godzilla. I have the Tamiya 1/35 of the old T-rex and the "newer" one. picture is the traveling exhibit of Sue at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Meine Frau is standing in the pic.

I remember seeing the dinosaur skeletons at the N.Y. Museum of Natural History when I was a kid.

Seeing that last picture two questions come to mind:

Can you imagine actually running into one of those thing?

Is that a Velociraptor in its mouth?

It sort of reminds me of a episode of Sliders where they landed in a wooded area that was actually a preserve for dinosaurs and encountered poachers and a Allisaurus and park rangers trying to arrest them.

Thank you. i am getting better with oil washes and filters. i recall a story ewhere there was a rip in time and part of New York City  reverted back to dinosaurs. High rises next to T-rex

i think it is one of these.

I believe the small dino is a Hadrasaur.They were herbiverous and roamed like cattle eating the foliage down low. Easy Pickings for T-Rex! Oh, bye the way the display is politically Correct. Notice little evidence of blood although some of Sue's longer teeth are in the body of the prey!

When I saw 1:1 dinosaur skeletons for the first time, I gasped and felt like a 5-year old again.  It's one thing to see them in books or on-line, but to stand next to them and realize they were once living things just boggles the mind.

Oh boy!  Take my money!

I may have to get one of those kits.  Hopefully it will appear at the local store.

From what I heard the estimated weight of one of those things was supposed to be aboiut 8 tons with a speed of about 20-25 miles per hour.

Can you imagine being chased by that?  It would be like having a hungry box truck after you, or worse a fully loaded Amazon de;iver truck with teeth.
