This is a test figure for color scheme, and he’s headed for a simple green bath, so no final detail painting.  I wasn’t going to post, but the figure section needs more pictures. He is from the Blood Angels chapter. I have a backside  picture, but I don’t know how to post more than one picture in my post. If anyone wants to see it, I can add it in reply.  Thanks for looking.       knox

Thank you for the comments.  I hope to do a lot more painting this year.

Nice touch on the detail painting. What is that, about 1 inch high?

Nicely done, Knox!  I like the depth of your colors, and your contrasts, which are subtle, not overdone.

You should tell us more about your technique!

Best regards,

Brad

Thanks again for the kind words. I am experimenting with using some oils colors.  When I’m more comfortable with it, I would like to do a wip.  The figures are only 1.5 inches, so it’s harder than I thought.  Thanks again.

Great job Knox! Sometimes simple schemes work best!

They're 32mm figures aren't they? Though I suppose the armour adds a few millimeters.

Hello!

Lookin' good!

What is this style of armor called? This is not "your regular Space Marine", eh?

Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Paweł

Pawel, you are correct. They are a primarus upgrade of the old marine scout squads.  32mm.
