US 6-color dcu... help!

i have a tamiya kit # 35153 (US modern desert scheme)... the instruction at the back suggested these colors: xf-59, xf-57, xf-64, xf-2, xf-1 and xf-52... i used xf-59 as the base color and the rest to complete the camo. it turned out to be the wrong shade(the camo is yellowish coz the basecoat is desert yellow).are the suggested paints correct? or should i use xf-57 as a basecoat?
