They are meant to be actual Deltas (as seen on pictures made in 2003). I used a kneeling soldier and modified the posture to make him seated and added kneepads with putty. The bust is a modified DML Delta (I added some pouches like the TAC-10 Vest should have). You probably noticed that I haven't finished painting them!
I made a mould of the legs ,two busts and a head.
Concerning the Blackhawk take a look at my site ( http://avus.esmartdesign.com ) under the projects section. I used a steel rod (1mm diameter) and bent it into shape. Since the whole thing is a little shaky I will add a second rod on the other side. Then I'll cover both rods with a shoesting to simulate the rope.
I will make some busts with the ranger body armor (different from the army one) and ranger equipment. Then I'll take some arms and legs from DML kits and modify the postures. Something like I did with the Deltas on the Littlebird.
