Great work, Dan. This was a really quick build for you. Who's next on the figure agenda ? :)

Great job!! I was checking out the rest of your superheroes and WOW!!! You are the master of figures. I love that Captain America one. The Captain was one of my favorite heroes as a kid. I still have a poster of him fighting Wolverine.

To all of you who have left such nice comments, thank you, thank you, thank you!

For some reason, this build went super smooth and quickly. I haven't found the other members of the Fantastic Four, but would be interested in building them...
I made this Thing much darker than the orange I've seen in comic books. I, too, think he looks more realistic this way. I have been searching for the Toybiz Hulk for my next build, and have bought Polar Lights Spider-Man kit to keep me busy in the meantime. Thanks again, everybody, for taking the time to look at these comic creations.

Regards, Dan

Wow, not familiar with one of the members of the Fantasic Four! His name was Ben Grimm and he was the test pilot for a rocket that carried a four man crew. They were exposed to cosmic radiation while in orbit and came crashing down. The cosmic rays turned Ben into a giant rock "Thing", the others became the Human Torch, Invisible Girl and Mr. Fantastic gained plastic man type powers (he could stretch into almost any shape).

Great stuff, real classic Americana.

Hello boybuddho, Angel [angel]
I was wondering what type & color paint did you use for the pole and especially that metal piece at the base of the street sign pole!! The metal piece with a flat head screw bit visible in the 2nd picture, side shot of the head of the screw in the 1st pic!! I think that piece does wonders for the base work as realism to the whole contruction overall!! Excellent Work!! And So quickly too!! Good Stuff!!Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]
Cool [8D]Cool [8D] Keep it up!! Cool [8D]Cool [8D] Cheers!! Cool [8D]Cool [8D]

Thanks Kelley.... : )
I used PollyS Silver for the light pole and Black for the piece of metal at the light pole and for the base and rocks. I then drybrushed PollyS Military Brown heavily over the metal and surrounding rocks. I then used PollyS White and lightly hit the edges of everything.
