Judging from what I've already seen you sculpt, I'm sure you could!
Give it a shot, Dan!

Thank you Dwight, Caseyn, Joe, Rick , Brian, and woodbeck!

I do have to say that this has been the most enjoyable base yet....I have almost finished the foam decorations for it. I added leafy thingy side panels and a hooded face relief:

And throw on some paint and wa-la.....

The sculpt on the gargoyle is great work Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]. I tried something similar ages ago but mine looked more like a very sick puppy.

Thanks, Joe...it's been a pleasure posting these crazy concoctions of mine...

I am working on a gargoyle corner piece carved out of low density foam. This is fun!

The nice thing about this foam is I can use 120 grit garnet paper to do most of the work. I have the left side close to being finished, and should have the gargoyle done tonight.

And here it is finished and fit to the corner...now I guess I need some decorative sconces to go on each side....hmmmmm.

Here is the next effort...the 1/8 scale Spiderman. I didn't like the original base so am posing him on a rooftop corner. I was thinking of sculpting a gargoyle for the corner and welcome any photo references. The rooftop is made of MDF board. As for Spidey, he went together well with no problems.
