I asked a question like this at armorama. I got one response, but it was a good one. The guy gave me a good websight. It has all the colors for all the parts of the US army uniforms during WWII. http://www.usarmymodels.com/guidetopainting.html
hope it helps

I just did a search at http://www.greatmodels.com/ and looked at a couple of kits for what you are doing. It seems that they wore standard issue Army uniforms. Maybe someone else can help. Good luck.
