The Waffen-SS used several types of camouflage throughout the war. They were still available at the time of the Normandy landings. "Blurred Edge" camo was a late war development that probably wasn't in use in June/1944. Go to this site for some good pictures of SS camo: www.atthefront.com

The "pea" pattern would have been in use in Normandy.

Would anyone happen to know what type of camoflauge (or regular grey uniforms) German units (any of them) wore in Normandy? Was the "pea" pattern camo used? Thanks in advance
