1.) Clean up the mold parting lines, especially on the inside of the left arm.
2.) You need better alignment on the right arm, the flak vest should be higher than the shoulder.
3.) Even if the uniform is all green, try to use a bit more variety in the shades,. and use a darker color for the flak jacket,.
4.) Add shadows and highlights to the uniform to give it more depth.
5.) If you are afraid of eyes in 1/35, you can approximate them with a wash of dark brown and you;r figure will look like he's squinting.
6.) When painting the goggles give the lens a coat of aluminum or silver, then use a translucent green or smoke.
7.) For your skin tones, try using warmer colors. I use Burnt Sienna to tint Titanium White until I get a good skin color. Most of my highlights and shadows come from these two colors.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Hey folks,

Ok, here he is...My first figure. I'm doing up a set of 1/35 IDF crewmen for my Merkava and here's the first guy. It's Academy's set, and instead of painting the goggles blue, I used Tamiya's Smoke for the lenses...

I used a mix of Old Concrete, Dark Tan and Shadow Tint Skin tone for the skin, and put the goggles on his face since I can't get the eye thing down. Had to shave off his nose, but oh well... Live and learn I suppose.

Feedback and help is appreciated and ENCOURAGED!
