I have looked at all of the sites i can find on the web and all of the boothes at IPMS Phoenix and can not find any of the subject soldiers in 1/35 scale for a diorama I am planning. Any information would be appreciated.

Don't know of any gunners out there. Tamiya does a set of Infantrymen you could probably convert into gunners. I have never built them, so I can't vouch for quality. I have heard they are descent.

There were also some Eigth Army gunners with the old Tamiya 25 pound gun as well. Not sure it is still available though.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I better start looking for a book with uniforms so I can modify those figures you mentioned.

Have you checked Verlinden, or Resicast? I seem to recall seeing a few 1/35 desert rats from WW II in their collection.

I dont know for sure but I think Tamiya makes a British 25pdr field gun with a whole British artillery crew. you might look into that.

you can improvise then, cut the head off and use a resin or dragon figure kit head, make ur own straps, define the lines like where the shorts end and the leg begins, use different arms like from the kit shown above, etc.... thats what i would atleast try, not that I myself would be sucessful but hey whats the fun in this if u dont experiment to get better results?

Thanks to all of you. Now I at least have some more ideas of where to head when looking for these figures.

I have that one on the bench...no figures except for the driver. The only 8th army ones I've seen are the Tamiya set and a couple o resin figures from other manufacturers.
