January 1989 Finescale modeler mag.?

Hi Group,

Does anybody have an extra FSM for January 1989? I need a copy to replace the one I have framed. I wanted to give one of my models of the a statue to a VVA hall and also a copy of the magazine cover I did for the VVA Three Fighting Men. I'm not looking for anything free.

Good God! That's the first issue of FSM I ever bought. I still have mine, but not an extra.

Regards,

-Drew

wait a sec.... ya know u can just back order an issue from finescale here. I'm not sure if they any left from back then. just go to the back issues link on the main page and look for urs. I requested a back order a while ago. came pretty quick u do haf ta pay fro it, but it ain't much more than a new issue. other than that, just try ur luck at a model show among the dealers....

No such luck on the back issue for that month, it was a sell out. I must have built a good model and did a decent job on the review? ;)

I found a copy on eBay (Item number: 5917347312) If this helps any.
Cheap Price and looks to be in good condition. Hope this helps. I had two copies last month and sold them. Sorry.... I'll see what I can find around here in the local shops sometimes they have back issues laying around.

Cheers;

Gregory

Further to my previous post of 30 seconds ago try this one as well from eBay
(Item number: 6922340117)
It's the complete year of 1989. You could get more bang for the buck and it would probably be cheaper on shipping as this set is in the U.S. while the other is in France. Take the issue you want and you'd have some "traders" left for future shows.

Jake

Did you find any of the above after I gave you the item numbers? I found them by typing in the search "FINE SCALE MODELER" or "FINESCALE MODELER" and added "1989" to shorten the list. I re-checked the item numbers and they are still up for grabs.

Hope you get one of these copies. I re-read my copy and it was an excellent article.

Cheers;

Jake,

I just sent you an email. I found a very good copy of the Jan/89 issue today, so consider it yours. Send me your mailing address and I'll drop it in the mail.
