I got a kit from Dragon saying the Gunze Sangyo colors but I' didnt know how to apply thwm. Thanks Smith M, now I know the technicalities. In winter some had parks other had camo, and interestingly, unluckyones had there splinter summer on waiting for supplies to come of winter (Stalingrad troops were stuck with splinters, the siege took advantage of it.)

In winter the Fallschirmjager had White parkas that they pulled over the summer camo, the pants were either the Field gray or White with a diamond weave.

When I paint camo uniforms or any uniform I use Humbrol enamels because they have a nice flat finish. When I paint the camo I'll lay in the base color first then the other colors to get the desired pattern. Then I'll give the creases of the uniform a wash with thinned artist oils, just in the creases. The deeper the crease, the darker the wash. After that has dried good I will lightly dry brush over the uniform with a light shade of the base color just hitting the raised areas of the creases. This is where you can loose the pattern if you do it to much. After that I go in and out line with black around seams, buttons and so on. Finally I give the whole figure a shot of dull coat. I have a figure in the March 2002 readers Gallery of FSM. He has a camo pattern on his pants that I used this technique for.
Hope this helps.

I guess its like the splinter one, but eithr way what paints are suggested and how do you put on camo, amking the colors detailed, visible, not blobed or smeared, etc.
