Disapprove [V]I had painted my tamiya 1/16 scale figure but thought it looked a little to shiny still. I had painted the figure in tamiya paint so thought that brushing on a flat coat of Tamiya arcrilyc flat would help ( I dont have the cash for an airbrush) but now I have a figure that has white spots! hat do I do I dont want have to strip and start again!!

Censored [censored] Tamiya.
First, don't use Censored [censored]Tamiya paints on figures; they don't work with a brush. Get some ModelMaster, PollyScale or Andrea/Vallejo. Go online if you have to. It's absolutely worth it. Not only will you get better quality paint, you'll have a much wider choice of colors.
Next, Censored [censored] Tamiya flat. The stuff should come with a big red letter warning not to use this OVER paints. It's not a product to be painted over something like ANY other clear flat. You're supposed to mix it into paint BEFORE you apply it. Banged Head [banghead] I said this before and I'm saying it again, what is wrong with Censored [censored] Tamiya to keep marketing this Censored [censored] garbage? Further, the clerks in the stores should be advising people how to use this.
Hopefully, you can safely strip your figure back to clean plastic and start over. If not, consider it a Sad [:(] lesson in why so many of us hate Censored [censored]Tamiya paint.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Yep, you got bit by the Tamiya flat. Best to just strip it & start over. For acrylics, I use only Vallejo these days. Best acrylic on the market IMHO.
