problems with Khaki
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, November 6, 2004 3:08 PM
hey everyone,
I'm finishing a bunch of american WW2 paras and I need some help painting them. I've tried the Tamiya khaki and it was a dark greenish color. The MMenamal just doesn't look right for the uniform color. Does anyone have a good color for this? It doesn't matter what kind or type of paint it is. Thanks

i used MM SAC bomer tan. it's like a light green. i got it in can form, and then found it was better to paint it by hand. here's a site where i got info on that sorta stuff:

http://www.usarmymodels.com/index.html

got to the 'guide to painting' section, it has stuff on the clothing colors. uniforms has pics from reenactor events. overall its a great site. i have it on my favorites.

hope it helps!!
