Just a thought----I did a re-release of the old Aurora (Bela Lugosi) Dracula some years ago, and painted the eyes (irises) a kind of wolf-like yellow/green, then added a very (very) thin line of red around the irises. It was quite effective. I don't know what inspired me---I probably read or saw it somewhere.

I am not very good at painting figures faces Any tips suggestions

Here is what i got so far, going to add some blue / brown to eyes to make it more real
