US Paratroopers/Infantrymen Colors
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 7:00 PM
Okay, I just got:

Italeri's "U.S. paratroops" (no. 109)

Tamiya's "U.S. Infantry (West European Theater)" (no. 35048)

Both are 1/35 scale. My question is this, what colors (preferably model masters or testors, the only ones readily available to me) should their uniforms, faces, weapons, etc. be? The normal olive drab doesn't look right on them. I'm not an expert modeler, so any painting tips are appreciated. The existing skin tone color I have () looks completely unrealistic. How should I fix this? Also, what type, size, etc. brushes should I use? Thanks in advance.

Hello neo_hacker21

Have a look at the following link:

www.usarmymodels.com

This is a great site about modeling the U.S. Army.
I hope this helps you.
