Converting male 1/35 figures to female
Posted by knight667 on Thursday, January 20, 2005 12:36 PM
Has anyone done this? I've got some Tamiya & Dragon figures that I'm considering converting a couple to female troops. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? I figure I'll use putty for contouring the body, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for how to change faces, hair, etc?

Good luck with that. Too hard for me to even think of.

Yeah, that is a project in and of itself. I'm sure someone will be coming along to guide you in this, though. When you get it done, make sure to show the rest of us the results.

Good luck on this one. I hope someone has some good tips, but not something I would tackle.

You can get a set of 5 heads from Hornet here http://www.greenwichgateway.com/hornetandwolf/index.htm Set HH10 is considered to be femal, IIRC. You will need to scult hair with your favorite epoxy putty, such as Milliput. There was a site, www.coloradominiatures.com that had all the head sets in stock and pictures of all 5 of each set, but it was not responding today.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Don't you need to go through surgery to change from male to female? Clown [:o)] I think they do that in Sweden.Wink [;)]

You know some one had to come back with a smart A** answer, I'm so proud to have got it done first!
