Just finished a few concept sketches for the Nadeshiko Kit.
Did 3 different drawings and will pick the final design a bit later on.
Over the weekend it is off to the store to get the supplies to make it all happen, this time round I am not using Balsafoam as the guy that I used to shop from stopped stocking it. Might have to look into getting the stuff directly from the states.
Alternative will be foam core overlayed with standard self-hardening clay:
Here is my current shopping list for the build:
1.) 2sqm of foam core(might be too little)
2.) 4 packets of clay
3.) 1 roll o Aluminum foil
4.) 2 Packets of Scenery water/crystal clear(a friend in japan is organising that).
5.) Some flocking
6.) 1 packet of sculpting clay(also from japan)
7.) Bunch of LED, tissue paper and supplies for power
8.) Acrylic Gel.
That should cover the essentials
First time I will do that much rock walls in a Dio/Base, up to now I have always used the method shown by David Fisher in his Model Mania Videos.
What I plan on doing is a mod of that technique but should produce similar results.
